Very exciting news - one of the two windows we bought for the kitchen (over a year ago...argh) is now nestled in it's cozy and intended spot. I got up this morning and fixed myself a cup of coffee and a bowl of granola, opened my window and enjoyed the cool air. It was really great! Haven't been able to do that in years. It's the small things, isn't it? Now for the second window, over the sink. It's a bit more complicated job than the first, but I think Rhett's motivated. Yay!
I wish all of you could come to my kitchen and share a cup of coffee and a cool breeze with me. Most of you will just have to be content with looking at the photo, sigh.
