Crashed

My (older) computer crashed today. I was right in the middle of transcribing the last bit of my last interview for my last job (most recent job) which I was already late on finishing -- and the screen just went "blip." I just finished saying the day before, that my computer was an oldie but a goodie, that it ran slow but it had been around for a while and never let me down me yet, and then for that--the next day the thanks I get--it betrayed me.

It's off to the computer techie guy tomorrow to see if it can be salvaged. I hope he can get the stuff off the hard drive. I do have some stuff backed up...but...

Argh. Double argh.

It's been a stressful month. This topped it off, oy vey.
