Caitlyn likes to drive our vehicles. The big green van or the gold Saturn, it matters not which one. She doesn't have her permit yet. So, she is content with backing up either vehicle in the driveway. Pull it forward. Turn it around. Back it up. This pleases her so much she breaks out in giggles. Today I asked her if she would wash the gold Saturn because it was looking rather lackluster, a shadow of it's shiny gold self. Sort of brown. So she obliged my request. Of course before she washed it, she had to pull it forward. To get it closer to the hose, you know. Then when she was done, she had to back it up. To get it closer to the vacuum, of course. However, in one of her pulling forwards or backing ups she ran over the wash bucket, water, soap, towel and brush still inside. After hearing "crunch," she hastily put the car in park, jumped out of the driver's side door and ran over to see what damage she had caused. (I was standing on the patio, laughing, doubled over, feeling very relieved that it was only a plastic bucket she ran over.) Her shock and horror and dismay turned to doubled over laughter, too, when she saw what she ran over and the state of the poor, crumpled bucket. She picked it up by the handle, dangling from one side, and said, "look Mom, my first thing I ever ran over!" We're so proud of her.

I know Emily--the title is screwed up! I messed it up and it's driving me nuts. But I don't know how to fix it.
You should be able to edit it in Blogger Dashboard. LMK if you can't figure it out.
Phew, I feel so much better now.
Me, too. Phew.
